ABOUT
The world is abuzz when The World Sports Games (WSG), an international sorting event held every four years, is being hosted in Tokyo. The media are also focusing their attention on the HyperLinear train, a high-speed transportation system that will launch on the opening day of the WSG.
As Alan McKenzie, former FBI chief and the head of WSG committee, board the HyperLinear train, Conan and Shuichi Akai suspect something is amiss and make their move. Strangely, Akai’s sister Masumi Sera and his mother Mary have also boarded the same train. To make matters even more curious, Akai’s younger brother and professional Shogi player Shukichi Haneda too happens to be visiting Nagoya, where the train is scheduled to begin its run…!
THE AKAI FAMILY
Shuichi is a FBI agent, a skilled sniper, and an undercover agent who has infiltrated the Black Organization and goes by the codename Rye.
After faking his death, he assumed a new identity as Subaru Okiya.
SHUICHI AKAI
An agent for England’s secret intelligence service MI6. Often known as the sister from outside the domain. The reason for her childlike appearance remains a mystery.
MARY
SHUKICHI HANEDA
Once a seven champion titles holding professional shogi player. Shukichi currently holds six titles and is dating Officer Yumi Miyamoto.
MASUMI SERA
Masumi currently attends the same high school as Shinichi and Ran. A self-proclaimed teenage detective and a skilled Jeet Kune Do fighter.
