TMS Entertainment Unveils This Year’s Anime NYC Programming, Featuring Exciting World Premieres, Panels, and More!
Programming will include premiere screenings of Case Closed (Detective Conan): The Scarlet Bullet, HIGH CARD Season 2, and The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Other TMS titles to be showcased at Anime NYC will be Undead Unluck presented by VIZ and Dr. STONE presented by Crunchyroll.
LOS ANGELES, CA — [November 2, 2023] — TMS Entertainment today announced their full programming lineup at this year’s Anime NYC Convention running from November 17-19 at the Javits Center in New York.
Case Closed (Detective Conan): The Scarlet Bullet
Fans will be able to catch Detective Conan’s cinematic return with box office hit, The Scarlet Bullet. The film, which grossed over $102.5 million globally, will make both its English Dub World Premiere and English Sub North America Premiere debut at Anime NYC.
The Case Closed (Detective Conan): The Scarlet Bullet English Dub World Premiere will take place November 18th from 4:00 PM at Anime NYC in Panel Room 3 of the Javits Center.
The Case Closed (Detective Conan): The Scarlet Bullet English Sub North America premiere will take place November 19th from 2:00 PM at Anime NYC in Panel Room 3 of the Javits Center.
The Scarlet Bullet is the highly anticipated, 24th movie from the beloved Case Closed franchise. Both Case Closed premieres will be followed by a giveaway, giving fans the opportunity to win Case Closed prizes to celebrate the premiere of the highly anticipated theatrical addition to the beloved series.
Fans unable to make it to Anime NYC, will soon be able to enjoy Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet from the comfort of their own homes, as the titles will become available digitally for purchase or rent.

From the creators of the hit series Kakegurui, comes the highly anticipated Season 2 World Premiere of the TMS anime original, HIGH CARD.
The HIGH CARD Season 2 World Premiere will take place November 18th from 6:45 PM at Anime NYC in Panel Room 1 of the Javits Center.
Attendees will receive an exclusive look at the highly anticipated return of HIGH CARD, the TMS original anime series from the creators of Kakegurui. There will be a trivia game with fun prizes to follow the screening of the first episode of Season 2.

The Seven Deadly Sins Four Knights of the Apocalypse
Fans of Nakaba Suzuki’s beloved The Seven Deadly Sins franchise will be able to engage in a discussion panel and premiere screening of the first episode of the franchise sequel The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Premiere Screening will take place November 19th from 12:30 PM at Anime NYC in Panel Room 1 of the Javits Center.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is the latest installment in the hit The Seven Deadly Sins franchise based on the manga created by Nakaba Suzuki. Making special appearances for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse screening will be Japanese voice cast members, Shou Komura, the voice of Percival, and Kikunosuke Toya, voice of Donny. The actors will host a discussion panel prior to the screening.

Shou Komura is a Japanese voice actor who voices Percival in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The role of Percival will mark his debut on performing as a protagonist for a series. Other notable roles include Unmei Sasanami in the upcoming video game, INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road.
About Kikunosuke Toya
Kikunosuke Toya is a Japanese voice actor who voices Donny in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Other notable roles include Denji from Chainsaw Man and Michalangelo in the Japanese dub of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, portraying a wide range of voices.
In addition to appearing on The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Premiere Screening Panel, Shou Komura and Kikunosuke Toya will also participate in autograph sessions together on Saturday, 11/18 at 11:30 AM and Sunday, 11/19 at 10:30 AM.
Other TMS Title Programming:
The Dr. STONE Behind-the Scenes Panel, presented by Crunchyroll, will take place November 18th from 12:00 PM at Anime NYC at the Crunchyroll Stage in the River Pavilion of the Javits Center.
Fans can join Crunchyroll for an exclusive insight into the production of Dr. STONE with special guests Director Shuhei Matsushita, Producer Shusuke Katagiri, Character Designer Yuko Iwasa, Producer Hiroto Matsukuma, and Manga Editor Ryosuke Yoritomi. Yuko Iwasa will be participating in a live drawing and shikishi giveaway as part of the event as well.
About Shuhei Matsushita
Shuhei Matsushita is a Japanese director who has directed the Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI as well as the third season of the series, Dr. STONE New World. He has also previously worked on other well-known titles such as Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, ClassicaLoid and DEEMO: Memorial Keys.
About Shusuke Katagiri
Shusuke Katagiri is an animation producer at TMS Entertainment and has been on staff for Dr. STONE since the first season. Some of his other notable works include Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line, Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun and Hero Bank.
About Yuko Iwasa
Yuko Iwasa is an animation director and character designer currently working on Dr. STONE New World. She is notably known as the character designer for ZETMAN, and Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, as well as being the chief animation director for Psychic Squad.
About Hiroto Matsukuma
Hiroto Matsukuma is a producer of Dr. STONE at TOHO Animation. His past work includes titles such as Yowamushi Pedal Limit Break and SEVEN KNIGHTS REVOLUTION: Hero Successor. In addition to Dr. STONE, he is currently working on upcoming anime series, slated to air in 2025 and beyond.
About Ryosuke Yoritomi
Ryosuke Yoritomi is an editor at Shueisha for the Weekly Shonen Jump and is in charge of overseeing the Dr. STONE manga and various media based on the series. His past work includes titles such as Toriko, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., and My Hero Academia. In addition to Dr. STONE, he is currently also working with Haikyu!! and The Elusive Samurai.
The Undead Unluck Panel, presented by VIZ, will take place November 18th from 2:15 PM at Anime NYC in Panel Room 1 of the Javits Center.
Fans can join VIZ for an exclusive look at the Undead Unluck series at the Undead Unluck Panel with mangaka Yoshifumi Tozuka, who will make his first public debut at Anime NYC. Yoshifumi Tozuka will do a live drawing and answer questions about his extraordinary manga and will be joined by Moe Kahara, voice actor of Fuko. There will be games, prizes, and more as part of the panel.
Yoshifumi Tozuka made his manga debut with the one-shot Uchuu Kankou C-Arc (Cosmic Arc Travel), which was published in Jump Next! in May 2014. Undead Unluck, his first series, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2020 and is published in English by VIZ.
In addition to appearing on the Undead Unluck Panel, Yoshifumi Tozuka will also appear on the VIZ Official Panel on Friday, 11/17 at 2:30 and will host autograph sessions on Friday, 11/17 at 4:00 PM and Saturday, 11/18 at 3:45 PM.
A rising talent in the industry, Moe Kahara is one of the youngest voice actresses to lead a shonen anime. In addition to her upcoming role as Fuko Izumo in Undead Unluck, she has appeared in other popular works such as How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom and In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, quickly establishing herself as a talented and versatile voice actress.
In addition to appearing on the Undead Unluck Panel, Moe Kahara will also host an autograph session on Saturday, 11/18 at 5:45 PM.

The manga first serialized on the Weekly Shonen Sunday, published by Shogakukan Inc. in 1994. The total sales of the comic series exceed 230 million copies. The series is one of the bestselling detective mystery comics and is very popular internationally as well.
